2022 Holiday Gift Guide

Happy Holidays! We are fully stocked on gifts and home decor for the holiday season. If you’re still searching for a gift to give to a loved one, we’ve put together a complete 2022 hygge gift guide.

Here are a few of our favorite gifts…

For the Mountain Lover

Our Frasier Fir candles are a wonderful way to remind someone of the great outdoors. If you have someone in your life who would rather be outdoors, give them a Frasier Fir candle to light and enjoy when winter weather hits. Packaged in an elegant green glass jar with pine needle etchings, The iconic Frasier Fir scent will fill your home with aromas of a crisp forest and fresh pine needles.

Our book collection is fully stocked for everyone on your gift list from the design lover to the cabin dweller. If you know a bookworm, or someone who enjoys a coffee table book or two, here are some suggestions.

“Winter Homes” covers a wide range of residences from across the globe, including Canada, France, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Poland, Russia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States. The pages are filled with dreamy photography and inspirational winter homes, which we believe is best enjoyed with a hot drink or curled up in front of a warm fireplace.

“Winter Homes” beautifully illustrates examples from winter wonderlands around the globe and provides ingenious solutions on how the home's design is formulated, and the architectural and interior design techniques used to create both a connection to nature and contend with biting winter conditions.

“The Ultimate Ski Book” elegantly displays that skiing is more than a hobby, it’s a way of life. Any place where even a few flakes fall, there are dedicated skiers--forever hunting for the longest run in the Andes, the most spectacular downhill in the Alps, the most legendary chalet in the Rockies. In this book, skiing expert Gabriella Le Breton assembles everything passionate skiers want to know. These books are both wonderful additions to anyone's mountain home.

For the New Parents + Hygge Babies

A cuddle bear makes a cute and cozy stocking stuffer for the little ones in your life. These cuddly teddy bears are made from soft, natural Australian sheepskin. Designed to be your little one's favorite companion. Here are some kid-proof benefits to sheepskin: breathes, never smells, flame retardant, resistant to static electricity, anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, resists dirt, and has excellent insulating properties.

This children's stool is a work of art and incredibly cute. Crafted from fine solid European oak and American walnut with a foam stool, and upholstered in cozy faux fur by EO in Denmark. This stool is a wonderful addition to your child’s playroom and pretty enough for the living room too.

For the Host

Pick up a cozy wine cooler and fill it with the host’s favorite wine or champagne. This cozy wine cooler design made of 100% natural wool will keep your champagne or bottle of wine cool for hours, due to the thermoregulation qualities sheepskin holds. Dutch designer Saskia Nooij created these wool wine coolers after a career in food and beverage. Her love for cold white wine and beautiful, lasting products resulted in this fun and functional wine cooler. Select your favorite sheepskin and accompanying leather or suede color, in either a wine bottle or champagne/wine bottle size. The wool wine coolers make a perfect gift for the wine drinker in your life.

Pair the wool wine cooler with this recipe book of Nordic-based cocktails. Star mixologist Selma Slabiak celebrates her Danish heritage by combining her personal and professional ethos for conviviality and togetherness with elevated bartending expertise and finesse, layering familiar and unusual flavors and ingredients, along with Scandinavian traditions.

For the Chef

The Alpine Cooking Book is a thoughtful gift for your friend or loved one who enjoys cooking and loves the mountains. It’s a lushly photographed cookbook showcasing the regional cuisines of the Alps, including 80 recipes for the elegant, rustic dishes served in the chalets and mountain huts situated among the alpine peaks of Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France.

For a Cozy Home

Last, but certainly not least, here are some gift ideas for creating a cozy home. Winter is the hygge high season and the holidays are the perfect time to bring warm, comfort inducing elements into your space. Snuggle up in a sheepskin or blanket, and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. White Icelandic sheepskins are a luxurious Scandinavian accessory renowned for their long, fluffy hair. There are many uses for Icelandic sheepskins - drape over a dining room chair, use as a couch throw, or lay on the floor as a cozy rug.

Warm throw blankets, crafted from precious yak yarn, are soft, breathable, and naturally water-resistant. Created by Hangai Mountain Textiles in Mongolia, these yak down, ribbed, duo-toned throws compliment any sitting area with elegance and coziness.

Add some “modern candlelight” to your home this winter. Combining the romance of a candle with the utility of a flashlight, the Wick light fits a broad variety of contexts, from an intimate home gathering to a backyard dinner party, to a warm office setting. Wick is a perfect gift or for your own enjoyment.

We hope our gift guide provides you with some hygge inspiration as you shop for your loved ones. We’ll be offering elegant hygge gift wrapping until Christmas! Visit our showroom Monday-Saturday, from 10-5pm or shop online. If ordering online, make sure to finalize your purchases by December 17th to allow enough time for your gifts to make it under the tree.
