Tip of the Tongue - Table Lamp

This intriguing table lamp is an illusion of balance, with a mouth-blown sphere of glass that appears to roll down the edge of a solid polished brass base. It has two lighting settings, a more dim ambient light and a brighter task light, allowing its user to experience multiple moods. Available in a polished brass, polished nickel-plated brass, and a black painted brass. 

Lighting designer, Michael Anastassiades, believes the delicate gesture of a sphere poised on the edge of the surface evokes the familiar phenomenon of failing to retrieve a word from memory, expressing a moment of tension in the form of the design, hence the name "tip of the tongue."
